This data is accessible only to your browser and remains within your local Chrome profile or Chrome Sync, if enabled.

2. Data Collected via ExtensionPay (for Pro users only)

• Your subscription status (free, trial, or paid)
• Payment history and plan type
• Email address (if provided during checkout via Stripe)

All payment and subscription data is handled securely by ExtensionPay and Stripe. XML & JSON Tools does not store or process any payment information or personally identifiable data directly.

❌ What We Do NOT Collect

• The XML or JSON data you paste into the extension
• Your browsing history
• The content of your tabs or pages
• The URLs you visit
• Your IP address, geolocation, or device data
• Personally identifiable information (unless provided to ExtensionPay)

All formatting, conversion, and visualization happen locally on your device with zero data collection.

XML & JSON Tools does not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

The only external services involved are:

• ExtensionPay: to manage subscriptions, trials, and upgrades. (Privacy Policy)
• Stripe: used by ExtensionPay for secure payment processing. (Stripe Privacy Policy)

These services may collect minimal data (e.g., email, subscription details) to manage billing and provide you with access to Pro features. XML & JSON Tools does not access or control that data directly.

🛡️ Data Security

• Your local settings and preferences are stored securely in your browser via chrome.storage.
• Subscription data is verified securely via ExtensionPay’s API.
• We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, or remote logging.

⚙️ User Control

• You can reset extension preferences anytime through Chrome’s settings.
• You can uninstall the extension to remove all locally stored data.
• You may cancel your subscription directly through ExtensionPay at any time.
• To remove all local data, you can also clear extension data through Chrome settings.
